Allen FUNG is the Managing Director of Valiance Hong Kong Limited and Senior Advisor of The Asia Group.

Allen is a political veteran with extensive public sector experiences in both Hong Kong and the Mainland of China. He has ​over 18 years of experience in the public sector including 8 years in policy formulating Government Secretariat of the HKSAR ​Government. In these capacities, he worked closely with the Principal Officials, corresponding Mainland officials, the ​legislature and advisory bodies, and various public sector leaders.

Before being appointed to the government, Allen had served for over 6 years under then Convenor of the Non-official ​Members of the Executive Council, the Honourable LEUNG Chun Ying. And since his undergraduate years, Allen had been a ​recognised student and young leader, being elected as Vice President (External) of the HKUSU and later on invited to join the ​Guangdong Youth Federation and All China Youth Federation as member and then standing committee member. He has ​also participated in various reputable youth organisations, including Hong Kong Y. Elites Association and Hong Kong United ​Youth Alliance, that had established him in the social network in both the public and private sectors.

Being one of the Yale World Fellows in 2020 had further broadened Allen’s networks and exposures with a global reach. ​Allen can provide valuable advice for any public or private organisations seeking insights in the public sector and political ​economic landscape of Greater China and APAC.

Prof. Witman HUNG

Witman is a seasoned ICT professional and angel investor, Witman has worked in the industry for more than 30 ​years. He is the Executive Chairman of Chinese Big Data Society, Vice President and Secretary General of Hong Kong-​ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Industry University Research Collaboration ​Association and the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association of HK. Witman was elected as a Global Council ​Member of the World Summit Awards. He is also an Independent Non-executive Director of VSTECS Holdings Limited ​(0865.HK), Sino Hotels (Holdings) Limited (1221.HK), Sprocomm Intel (1401.HK) and LH Group Limited (1978.HK), four ​companies listed in the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Witman served as Hong Kong Deputy to 13th ​National People's Congress (NPC) and Principal Liaison Officer for Hong Kong, Shenzhen Qianhai Authority.

Witman is a Chartered Information Technology Professional and a fellow of the British Computer Society, the Hong ​Kong Computer Society and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Witman earned a LLD from Renmin University of ​China and also possess five other degrees in management, law and history. Witman is currently an Adjunct Professor ​of Jinan University and Hainan University, and is an Honourary Professor of Guangxi Normal University. He is also the ​Advisory Board Member on Business Studies of Lingnan University, Member of Intellectual Property Assessment ​Committee and External Member of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Applied Mathematics of The Hong ​Kong Polytechnic University. In 2008, Witman was selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong ​Kong. In 2016, he was given the Asia Social Innovation Leadership Award by CMO Asia. Witman is Chairman Emeritus ​of the Y.Elites Association, President Emeritus of the Internet Professional Association and Council Member of Hong ​Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association.

Mr. Richard CHENG

Richard Cheng is a digital transformation advocate based in Hong Kong and the ASEAN region. He has over 10 years ​of experience in helping institutions achieve and benefit from digital transformation. Richard is a pioneer in ​empowering enterprises with innovative digital solutions. He has worked on some of the largest digital campaigns in ​Hong Kong history. This includes the largest government-backed online pension management system in 2020, ​regional localization of Google Maps for the ASEAN regions. His digital campaigns are often first of their kind and ​proven with large scale adoption.

Richard is the ASEAN Project Director for FormX.ai. Richard was Honorary Director of Data Science for the Hong Kong ​Public Opinion Research Institute. He is the Project Director of Vase.ai, an ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Market ​Research Solution Company. He was one of the founding conveners of a Hong Kong think tank “Youth I.D.E.A.S”. He ​was also recognised as Internet Society’s Next Generation Leaders and ICANN’s Honorary Fellow.
